Alvin and Haley Yankana have served faithfully at Faith Baptist Church for many years. In the summer of 2023 God called them to the field of Guyana, South America. God has given them a “great door and effectual” that is rarely seen with new missionaries. There is a work already started in Guyana that they are prepared to take over and see grow. While this is an amazing opportunity it is also a burden. The people of Faith Baptist Church have joined in this burden and want to see the Yankanas get to the field as soon as possible. The very future of the work in Friendship Village, Guyana, depends on it. There are also many opportunities for this work to expand into other villages.
